If your Online Application is conditionally approved, we will then ask you about some additional options for your new credit card or personal loan. Your Identification Options.For brand new Bankwest customers you will need to complete an Identification check. If requested, please kindly take your Identification documents into your nearest Bankwest Store to complete the Identification process. If you cannot get to a Bankwest Store then you may take an Identification Check Form, along with your ID documents, to any Australia Post Bank@Post outlet. Alternatively, you can access the relevant form on our website. What do I do with the Credit Card Protection Section?Simply tick the box if you are interested in applying for Credit Card Protection for your new credit card. You'll then be asked to read and accept the Credit Card Protection Combined Financial Services Guide and Product Disclosure Statement. If you'd prefer not to apply for Credit Card Protection at this time, click 'Next' to finalise your Online Application. Why can't I view the Credit Card Protection Combined Financial Services Guide and Product Disclosure Statement?To view the Combined Financial Services Guide and Product Disclosure Statement, you will need software called Adobe Reader installed on your machine. If you don't have it, click on the Adobe link on the screen and download the latest version. It's free. If you already have Adobe Reader and are still having a problem viewing the document, it may be because you have an older version of Adobe Reader. Try downloading the latest version by clicking the Adobe icon on the screen. What do I do with the Transfer Your Balance Section?Here you can transfer balances from your non-Bankwest credit or store cards to your new credit card. Should you wish to include extra cards for balance transferring then please kindly click 'Add More' and complete the 'Card Number' and 'Transfer Amount' fields again. There are some important things to note about balance transfers: Only Australian issued non-Bankwest credit/store cards can be balance transferred; All balance transfers from other credit/store cards must be in your name or the name of the additional cardholder, and not be in default of the terms and conditions applicable to that card at the date of the transfer request; We will process the balance transfer requests in the order you have requested them, and only up to 95% of your approved credit limit; If you wish to close the other credit/store cards, you will need to arrange this; We will not be responsible for any delay or any charges in connection with processing the balance transfer request. Your balance transfer will be processed as soon as you activate your new card. |
