Your Identification OptionsFor brand new Bankwest customers you may need to complete an Identification check. If requested, please kindly take your Identification documents into your nearest Bankwest Store to complete the Identification process. If you can not get into a Bankwest Store then you may take an Identification Check Form, along with your ID documents, to any Australia Post Bank@Post outlet. For Credit Card CustomersIf you provided us with an email address in your Bankwest Online Application, we'll send you a confirmation email which includes a customer reference number. You should hear from our Online Sales team within 10 working days. Call us on 13 17 18 if you've got any questions. For Bankwest Smart eSaver, TeleNet Saver & tddirect CustomersIf you provided us with an email address in your Bankwest Online Application, we'll send you a confirmation email which includes a customer reference number. Once we've received your signed account authority and checklist, you should hear from our Telenet Sales team within 10 working days. Call us on 13 17 18 if you've got any questions. Why do I need to send you a recent statement (no older than 6 months) for my linked account? A recent bank statement from your Linked Account (this is only required for non-Bankwest Accounts) assists us to check your identity. For Bankwest Hero, Zero or Student Transaction Account CustomersThe final screen will detail the status of your application. If you have been successful, your account details will appear on screen along with your PAN. If you provided your PAN in your application you can start using your account straight away. In some cases we will need to verify your identity, this will require you to follow a few simple steps that are provided to you on screen and in an email that we will send. For Home Loan CustomersIf you have provided us with an email address in your Bankwest Online Application, we will send you a confirmation email which includes a customer reference number.
